Inde Navarrette reportedly turned down a major role with a $2.5 million paycheck after committing to Marvel‘s X-Men. The actress was also being considered for a major role in the crime drama Heat 2 alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.

Michael Mann considered Inde Navarrette for the coveted Ashley Judd role in Heat 2

Following her role in the hit horror movie Obsession, Inde Navarrette has become a sought-after name in Hollywood. She has reportedly been cast in Marvel’s X-Men alongside Adam Driver and Sadie Sink, which affected her availability for other roles.

According to Page Six, a producer said, “She is on everyone’s short list right now.” The source added that the actress has been turning down roles offering mid-seven-figure paychecks.

Due to her Marvel commitment, Navarrette will reportedly no longer play Sharlene in Heat 2, a role previously played by Ashley Judd.

Sources also claimed that another horror project directed by Matthias Hoene would have paid her $2.5 million. Navarrette has reportedly received several lucrative offers from major Hollywood productions.

She is also starring in Hoene’s other project, Invertigo, in which she plays a teen stuck on a roller coaster. Navarrette is also gaining Oscar buzz for her performance as Nikki Freeman in Obsession, which reportedly earned nearly $500 million worldwide. Her paycheck for Obsession was reportedly just $20,000, marking a dramatic jump in her earning potential.

Her reported decision to turn down the role comes as her career continues to gain momentum following Obsession. Sources said her growing profile has resulted in multiple seven-figure offers, giving her more freedom to choose between high-profile projects.

Navarrette was previously known for her roles in Superman & Lois and 13 Reasons Why, but her recent success has put her firmly in the spotlight.
