In addition to multiple screenings of the 1958, Steve McQueen-starring cult film The Blob, Blobfest includes:
- Two run outs, where festivalgoers can reenact the moment when the Blob attacks the theater and the panicked audience stampedes out the front doors into the street beyond.
- A street fair and costume contest. The contest attracts more both children and adults. You are welcome to don a costume.
- A self-guided driving tour of filming locations for The Blob, Hayride to Hell, The Lovely Bones, The Village and more.
- Screening of other horror films including The Creature from the Black Lagoon (3D); Fluido Mortale (The Blob ’58 en Español); the 1988 remake of The Blob; and Beware! The Blob.
