Kim Kardashian’s Plunging Ludovic de Saint Sernin Dress Has a Sheer Slit

Kim Kardashian returned to London this week to party, this time to celebrate SKIMS’ newest flagship store. The brand’s founder made her entrance in a plunging caramel-toned dress with a sheer slit from her longtime favorite designer, Ludovic de Saint Sernin.

Kim Kardashian’s plunging Ludovic de Saint Sernin dress gets a fully sheer slit for SKIMS party

Kim Kardashian’s plunging dress with a fully sheer slit from Ludovic de Saint Sernin steals the show at SKIMS’ new London flagship celebration party. She wore the label’s Mermaid Bi Dress, a floor-length piece in a warm tan hue that hugged her curves down to a dramatic, flared hem.

A diagonal slit ran across the skirt, lined with a row of small button-like closures that added structural detail to the sleek silhouette. The fitted bodice and gently trailing hemline gave the dress a classic mermaid shape. The neutral colorway marked a departure from the black and sheer looks Kardashian has typically favored from the designer.

The reality TV star wore her long, dark hair down and sleek, parted in the middle, keeping accessories minimal. Videos from the event show her waving to fans and photographers as she made her way into the store, flanked by a heavy security detail.

The London opening marks the latest stop in SKIMS’ ongoing expansion in the United Kingdom. Kardashian previously turned heads at a Nike x SKIMS pop-up in London earlier this year. She wore a sheer black top layered under a matching leather coat for the visit. The latest flagship opening further represents a more permanent presence for the brand in the city.

Fans and followers reacted enthusiastically to the look online. In addition, videos from the event quickly racked up comments and shares. For Kardashian, the SKIMS London flagship opening offered yet another opportunity to pair a business milestone with a memorable fashion moment.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin has become something of a signature label for Kardashian over the past year. The designer is behind several of her most talked-about looks, including a sheer midi dress she wore this past summer. The consistent partnership thus made the designer a fitting choice for a night built around growing her own empire.
