‘Obnoxious’: Meghan Markle’s As Ever Video Backfires

Meghan Markle‘s new “As Ever” video is being heavily criticized online. The Duchess of Sussex also featured in a new short reel. There, she was seen walking with a basket full of fruit and vegetables. But it seems fans were not pleased with the new clip. They immediately critiqued the video, with some calling it “obnoxious.”

Meghan Markle’s As Ever summer special video severely criticized online

Meghan Markle recently featured in a new video for her As Ever brand. The video was shared on the brand’s Instagram account. It shows the mom of two carrying a basket full of fruits and vegetables like apples and tomatoes. She was wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt with white trousers. It was captioned, “A basket full of summer.” The reel also shows Markle smiling at the camera while enjoying a warm drink and playing with her hair in the garden.

However, it seems the new As Ever summer special video did not strike a chord with viewers, who critiqued it soon after it went online. “The single most obnoxious As ever post yet: clean veggies, preening, and the concentration camp shirt,” wrote a person on Reddit. Another individual pointed at her basket, commenting, “It’s amazing how she picks fruits and vegetables that are ripe in different seasons. What a magical garden she has!”

A third also echoed the same and mentioned the apples in the basket, adding, “I knew California was magical, but today I discovered California produces ripe apples in June! Wow!.” Meanwhile, another commented, “I have to admit the last half of this video had me laughing at her ‘model’ poses.” One person was even confused about what Markle was trying to sell, writing, “So what am I supposed to buy? Tomatoes? Blue shirt? What?”

Several reports have recently suggested that Markle’s brand is on the verge of bankruptcy. But a spokesperson denied the rumors, stating the brand is doing fine.
