A Housewife’s sophomore season is always rough, and Bronwyn Newport could be following suit. Bravo teased what fans can expect to see from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star in Season 6, and it sounds like life got a little too real for her this year. She’s navigating health challenges with her parents and simultaneously trying to exist in this chaotic friend group.
Bronwyn Newport’s parents have relocated to Salt Lake City “after a series of health scares”
Season 6 of RHOSLC picks up right where we left off with Season 5. The last time we saw Bronwyn, she was going toe toe-to-toe with Lisa Barlow. That feud will continue, but according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, her biggest focus is her family.
“On the heels of a fiery reunion, Bronwyn Newport navigates her place with the women and seeks to find a path forward in the group,” the RHOSLC Season 6 promo teased. “At home, Bronwyn has relocated her parents to Salt Lake City after a series of health scares and a devastating diagnosis, but tensions reach a boiling point when her mother strikes a chord with her harsh critiques.”
Living with your parents, even as they navigate health challenges, is not easy. In the Season 6 trailer, it seems like Bronwyn and her mom will revisit some old wounds. One clip shows them discussing Bronwyn’s teenage pregnancy.
“My mom is disappointed in me, she’s made that very clear,” Bronwyn admitted in the trailer.
Although Bronywn has a lot on her plate at home, that doesn’t mean her castmates are taking it easy on her. One of the most talked-about moments from the trailer shows her in a heated argument with Lisa.
“You should really go to school,” Lisa tells Bronwyn, to which she replies, “Go to work to pay off those f*cking lawsuits off.”
Once again, it seems like we’re in for a rollercoaster of a season from Salt Lake City. Buckle up, and maybe say a prayer for Bronwyn.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns to Bravo on Tuesday, September 16 at 8/7c. Stream it the next day on Peacock or Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
