Teddi Mellencamp had a very special moment at the Wig Fairy recently. The experience clearly made the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum emotional. And the result is that she looks and feels fabulous with her new wig amid the ongoing battle against stage four cancer.
Earlier this year, the accountability coach seemed unsure about her wig situation. The March 2025 Instagram post conducted a poll asking followers whether she should wear the wig or not. Two side-by-side pictures were posted. As it turns out, Teddi seemed to prefer going natural, looking gorgeous either way. But with the new looks from Wig Fairy, the former RHOBH star may be going out more frequently with long hair.
Teddi Mellencamp’s new wig makes her “so happy” during her cancer fight
The Wig Fairy shared a video of Teddi’s consultation. The touching clip showed Teddi moved to tears as she put on a wig and had it styled by the consultant.
“Celebrating Teddi’s incredible strength and transparency. We had the honor of helping her find a beautiful new wig after her past experiences left her feeling disappointed. It’s time to change the narrative around wigs,” the caption read.
“I’m really excited,” Teddi said to the stylist as they got the session started. The Two T’s In A Pod podcast cohost wiped away tears as she looked in the mirror.
“This is already so much more comfortable. Oh my gosh, this looks so much better. It actually looks like it’s coming out of my head. Oh, you make me so happy,” she gushed.
The stylist answered, “I’ve been wearing wigs for 15 years, so I get you. When you start feeling good, like looking good, you feel better automatically.”
Teddi did not have high expectations for the appointment. She admitted, “I really thought this was going to be a waste of time. I was gonna be annoyed. But it really feels like my hair.”
The Wig Fairy also boasts a baseball cap-friendly product. The workout enthusiast was very excited about that wig. We can’t wait to see Teddi out with her new looks!
