Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams got into a tense confrontation with a group of autograph dealers on Saturday, July 11. The incident reportedly took place while the actor was in Paris for Fashion Week, where these alleged autograph dealers followed him to his residence.

Williams was filmed during a confrontation with a group of alleged autograph sellers in Paris over the weekend, and multiple videos of the incident were shared online. According to reports, the “autograph dealers” chased Hudson, his girlfriend, and his three other companions back to his temporary residence in Paris. The cameras caught the exact moment as he stepped out of his vehicle.
He appeared visibly frustrated in the video. Williams can be heard telling the group they had crossed a line by tracking him to where he was staying. “Guys, you just followed me to my residence,” Williams said. “This is f*king weird. You guys aren’t fans. You’re being really cr*epy, and you just followed me, OK? You don’t do this.”
The video then shows him snatching a stack of his own photos from one of the men and attempting to set them on fire with a lighter, although unsuccessfully, before asking the group to leave. A man can also be heard apologizing to Williams; however, he refused to accept the man’s apology.
The video garnered widespread sympathy online. Many fans defended Williams, arguing that no matter his fame, he still has the right to privacy. Several fans also pointed out he stayed relatively composed given the circumstances.
Although William has not personally addressed the issue, he shared an Instagram post from a professional bodyguard he had been working with in Paris shortly after his videos went viral online on Monday.
Autograph dealers, unlike genuine fans, typically approach celebrities under the guise of admiration, only to resell the signed items for profit. Many celebrities have openly criticized this practice.
