If you’ve ever been in a video store, you’ll know the feeling (rows and rows of boxes, loads of cover art and no idea where to start). Online game lobbies can be the same, with lots of tiles and very little in the way of guidance. Jack2Win is a lot easier to get your head around once you know how the sections are laid out.
What Kind of Platform Is Jack2Win?
Jack2Win is a cloud-based online gaming platform. You sign up via the distributor sites (they create your account and handle the payments). The games are on the Jack2Win platform, and you play with credits in your account.
BitofGold is one of the ‘distributors’ and it’s a social casino. The page for Jack2Win on BitofGold lists examples from the slot, fishing, and table categories. The list of games is, of course, subject to change, so the titles listed are just some of the current titles.
How Players Reach the Lobby
To get going, you need two logins. Your distributor account is the one you use for registration and for payments. Your Jack2Win login is separate, and that’s the one you use to get into the game lobby.
You can open Jack2Win online in a web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer(no installation required). The supplier of the platform also lists Android and iOS apps. The app options are subject to change, so check the supplier’s help pages to see what’s available at the moment.
Three Shelves in the Jack2Win Game Library
The Jack2Win game library is format-based. One distributor has over 90 titles in their list (though that number will, of course, change). Each section is a different experience, so it’s worth knowing the differences as it will help you pick quicker.
Slots: Short Rounds, Big Themes
Slots are the simplest Jack2Win games for the beginner. You pick your bet, you spin, and each round is over in seconds. Some of the current examples would be:
- Lucky Shamrock
- God of Wealth
- Fire 7
- Bonus Bears
- The Good Life
- Fairy Garden
The slot section has both the simple vintage style games and the more complex ones. God of Wealth is a good example of the latter with a mythology theme and various bonus rounds. If you’re new to slots, then I’d suggest you start with one of the simple vintage-style games to get to grips with the controls.
Fish Games: A Shared Screen
Fish games are pretty much like arcade shooters. You’ve got a cannon to aim at the moving targets, and multiple players can play on the same table. The current titles in the Jack2Win game library in this category are:
- Bird Hunter
- Kirin Storm
- Insect Paradise
- Ocean Heaven
- Reborn of Panda
- Legend of the Phoenix
One distributor also has Ocean King 3 (a very popular fish table with multiplayer) listed. Fish games have more going on in terms of action than slots, with moving targets, other players, and more buttons. You’ll need to spend a few minutes getting to know the layout before you go and change any of the settings.
Keno and Table Games
Some of the Jack2Win listings include Keno, and BitofGold’s page has Blackjack, Baccarat, and Roulette listed as their table games. If you’ve ever played cards or seen a number draw, then the rules will be very familiar. The lobby tabs will tell you what games are available when you log in.
Judging a Game the Way a Critic Would
A film review will look at the pacing, the tone, and the craft before getting on to the plot. Readers of HNN’s game reviews will be familiar with this method, and it works perfectly for a game lobby as well. These are the things you can use to compare Jack2Win games without having to go into any argument about which one is the best value:
- Format: reels, a shared fish table, or a number draw.
- Pace: quick single rounds or longer sessions.
- Interface: how many buttons and settings you need to learn.
- Multiplayer: whether other players appear on the same screen.
- Device fit: how the game looks and handles on your screen size.
None of that in any way affects your chances in a game. It just helps you find a format you’ll enjoy learning.
Theme and Sound
The theme is actually more important than you’d think. The mythical creatures in Kirin Storm and Legend of the Phoenix are very much in the spirit of the game, creating a dramatic feel. Lucky Shamrock is quite the opposite in tone. Day of the Dead is also present in other Jack2Win listings for those who prefer a bit of a darker aesthetic.
The way casino game themes take their tension from film is a subject in itself. For the purposes of a first session, though, the practical point is simply this: pick a look and a sound that you’re going to want to spend time with.
Quick Answers for New Players
Can you sign up on Jack2Win directly?
You can’t sign up for Jack2Win directly. You have to sign up with a distributor, and they then create your individual Jack2Win login.
What kinds of games does Jack2Win have?
The lobby has slots and fish games, and may have keno and table games at times. The lobby tabs will tell you what’s available at the moment.
Is Jack2Win available in every state?
Jack2Win isn’t available in all states, and the rules around online gaming are different in different locations. Always check your state’s rules and the distributor’s terms before you get going.
Before a First Session
Availability is dependent on where you live. Online gaming rules vary from state to state, and Jack2Win is only available to adults 21 and over. Please check the current terms and your local rules prior to registering.
A short checklist helps:
- Confirm your state is eligible.
- Read the current terms on the distributor’s site.
- Start with one format and learn its controls first.
- Decide on a time and spending limit before you open the lobby.
Keep your Jack2Win login details private. Your distributor will give you the login and a link to the platform, which will take you straight to the lobby. Logins from other websites or social media are not linked to your account.
A Note on Responsible Play
Online games are for fun, and the results are never going to be guaranteed. Set a time limit and a spending limit before you start each session and stop when either of those has been reached. If it stops being fun, then take a break.
A lobby is easier to enjoy once you know what each section is for. Learn one format at a time, and the rest of the Jack2Win platform will start to make sense.
