For years Kathy Wakile and her husband Rich Wakile were fixtures on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. A first cousin of Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga, Kathy and her sister Rosie Pierri were featured on RHONJ during Seasons 3 through 7. We also met their children, Joseph and Victoria, before a family falling out erased the Wakiles from the show.
But now Kathy has resurfaced from the depths of obscurity, and she’s sharing some big news. Her daughter Victoria, who married Teddy Kosmidis in February 2021, is expecting her first child.

On Mother’s Day, Victoria posted her pregnancy announcement on Instagram, which Mama Kathy quickly shared. “We Are So overwhelmed with Joy & Gratitude,” Kathy wrote. “God Is Great … A Happy Mother’s Day.”
Victoria’s post featured the young couple painting a nursery wall with the words, “Baby Kosmidis ‘25.” A streamer of sonogram images spilled out of her back pocket, and an image of a positive pregnancy test was also included in the carousel.
“Our greatest gift is on the way,” Victoria captioned her original post. “Celebrating my first Mother’s Day with a heart already FULL! Happy Mother’s Day to every woman who loves with her whole heart. I now know the feeling.”
Amid the cast polarization, RHONJ is on a long hiatus, while producers decide what to do. Rumors continue to circulate that the show will be rebooted, à la The Real Housewives of New York. Other fans speculate that some cast members will return, while others will not.
Meanwhile, some have wondered if Kathy and Rich are returning to the show. Not only do they live just down the block from Joe and Melissa Gorga, but a surprise appearance on Watch What Happens Live last summer stirred suspicions.
Real Housewives executive producer and WWHL host Andy Cohen emphatically denied the idea of a Wakile return. “There was no intention behind her visit besides seeing an old friend,” he said at the time. “We just thought it would be fun if we had a, you know, vintage housewife come through the door … We haven’t even started talking about next season.”
