His Majesty King Charles has reportedly removed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s wedding photo from its original position at his Highgrove home. And with this step, an expert believes, the monarch has almost “declared war” on the Sussexes in a quite polite way.

His Majesty King Charles, who loves spending time at his Gloucestershire home, Highgrove, had family photographs on his table. It included a framed picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. But it’s now missing. The change came to light after royal photographer Chris Jackson shared photos from inside Highgrove on Instagram. It had one photo of Charles with Prince William and Prince Harry, and the other of him holding Prince Louis.
Soon after, longtime royal watchers were quick to point out that the framed photo from the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding no longer appeared on the table. Neither Buckingham Palace nor Highgrove representatives have publicly commented on the apparent decor change. Although Samara Gill, host of “Triggered with Samara Gill,” believes this is a hint at war between the monarch and his younger son. “Look, I mean, removing a royal photo in royal life is sort of a declaration of war, I would say,” Gill told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
The talk TV host further claimed the Royal Family is known for freezing people out “quite politely. And the symbolism of that is subtle, but quite brutal.” Thus, looking at the turn of events, Gill thinks that although the monarch is “heartbroken,” due to “all the drama and chaos that they’ve been causing Charles,” this is “sort of endgame now” for the couple.
She further stated that even in his speeches, the monarch only “references William and Catherine” as they “stood by him during very hard times.” By removing their photo, Gill thinks, the “royal family doesn’t want to be reminded of the dark cloud of Harry and Meghan that has been sort of presiding over the last 5 years since Megxit.”
