Rising young actress Kylie Marshall steps into a powerful and demanding leading role in RUN, an action-driven drama that places a teenage girl at the center of a dangerous world of survival, martial arts and unexpected courage.

Marshall stars as Sky Morales, a 16-year-old runaway who has already experienced more hardship than most people twice her age. After fleeing an abusive foster home, Sky is trying to survive the unforgiving streets of Baltimore while continuing high school and searching for some sense of stability. But her life takes a dramatic turn when she unknowingly becomes caught in the middle of a dangerous drug operation.
When Sky becomes the target of a ruthless cartel, she finds an unlikely protector and teacher in Master Kwon, portrayed by martial arts legend Master Eric Kwon. He recognizes something in Sky that she has yet to fully recognize in herself: strength.
Under Master Kwon’s guidance, Sky begins learning martial arts, but her transformation is about far more than knowing how to fight. She is forced to confront fear, anger and the emotional scars of her past while discovering discipline, confidence and the ability to stand on her own.
For Kylie Marshall, the role offers an opportunity to portray a heroine who is vulnerable without being weak. Sky is described as small but tough, fiercely determined, street-smart and slow to trust. Beneath the armor, however, is a teenager who still carries hope and a deep desire to find somewhere she belongs.

The project brings together an ambitious ensemble of characters surrounding Sky, including her troubled foster family, her best friend Mia Levy, and a high-school teacher whose involvement in the criminal world creates another layer of danger. The supporting cast envisioned in the project includes recognizable names from the worlds of film and martial arts.
Written by Floyd Marshall and Tony Mercedes, RUN draws inspiration from the tradition of character-driven martial arts films while giving the familiar mentor-and-student story a contemporary edge. Its presentation references films including The Karate Kid Part II, Sidekicks and Safe, but at its heart is the story of a young woman learning that surviving her past is only the beginning.
Marshall is an especially intriguing choice to carry that story. The young performer has already been building momentum through film, television and live appearances, including her recent performance in Times Square for Wonderama. RUN represents a very different side of her emerging career—a tougher, darker and more emotionally demanding character with the potential to showcase both dramatic depth and physical determination.
The title itself says everything: RUN.
At first, Sky runs because she has no choice. She runs from abuse, from danger and from the people determined to control her life. But as she grows stronger, the question becomes whether she will continue running—or finally turn around and fight for herself.
For Kylie Marshall, RUN could mark an exciting new chapter: a young actress stepping forward to portray a young woman who refuses to remain a victim of her circumstances.
And in Sky Morales, Marshall may have found the kind of role that allows audiences to see exactly what she can do.
