Barbara Palvin is celebrating a milestone birthday with an even more special title: “mom.” The model marked her 33rd birthday by sharing a series of serene birthday photos featuring her newborn baby daughter, Sylvie. This made it her first birthday since welcoming her little girl with husband Dylan Sprouse.
Barbara Palvin marks 1st birthday as a mom with adorable photos with baby daughter
Barbara Palvin shared the nature-filled carousel on Instagram on October 9, one day after her 33rd birthday. She captioned the photos, “Becoming an adult in middle-earth.” The playful reference nods to The Lord of the Rings, in which hobbits traditionally come of age at 33.
The model cradled baby Sylvie throughout the Instagram carousel while posing outdoors against a backdrop of lush greenery and red clay roof tiles. In one sweet photo, the model lovingly gazed down at her daughter, who rested peacefully in her arms.
The new mom embraced a cozy cottagecore look inspired by the rustic style of “The Lord of the Rings.” She wore an olive off-the-shoulder peasant blouse under a beige embroidered pinafore dress. Meanwhile, her loose wavy hair and natural makeup completed the whimsical aesthetic. Baby Sylvie looked equally adorable in a white long-sleeve bodysuit paired with floral-print pants.
Palvin also shared an Instagram Story featuring New Zealand actress Sarah McLeod, who played Rosie Cotton in The Lord of the Rings films. The photo reportedly included McLeod’s daughter, Maisy McLeod-Riera. The image drew a visual parallel between Palvin’s rustic outfit and the fantasy franchise’s aesthetic.
Dylan Sprouse and Palvin announced the arrival of their first child, daughter Sylvie Sprouse, on September 28, 2026. Their joint Instagram post read, “We took Labor Day literally this year ??,” suggesting she was born around September 7. Palvin’s 33rd birthday marked her first since becoming a mother. Her photos offered a personal glimpse into this new chapter as she celebrated alongside Sylvie.
